Laser Eye Surgery Risks Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C.
Description
Laser eye surgery risks are uncommon, especially because Dr. Andrew Holzman’s practice, Holzman Laser Vision, in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. have strict patient screenings. About 20% of the patients are turned away for their safety because they do not fit the criteria for the procedure.
It would be very foolish for me to tell you that any procedure is completely without risk, but having said that, laser vision correction is very, very safe because we lower the risk by turning away approximately 20% of patients we feel are not suited for this procedure. Having said that, the most common side effects are glare and dry eye; both of which are temporary and will go away within the first few months after the surgery.
