I just had my procedure with Dr. Holzman at the Center in Tysons and I could not be happier. I’ll have to provide an update when my eyes heal fully and I have none of the expected side effects of the procedure, but so far so good. I had 2 appointments with them prior to the actual surgery. First was a screening to make sure my eyes could handle it, and I was a good candidate. Next was the pre-op appointment a week before where I was given instructions prior to the operation and given medications I needed to use. Day of the surgery there is a bit of a wait, but the procedure itself only takes 15 minutes. Relatively painless and the results are almost instantaneous. Within 3 hours I was seeing 20/20 and one day later I’m 20/15.
Dr. Holzman has a reputation of being a perfectionist which bodes well for his patients, a great doctor and one of the best in his field. If you’re thinking about getting LASIK make sure he’s top on your list.
