The Risks Of LASIK
Dry Eyes
This condition is easily treated with eye drops and should resolve within six months.
Corneal Flap Complications
The risk of infection and swelling is minimized due to bladeless techniques and strict precautions.
Glare
The effect is usually mild and most often subsides a few days to a few weeks after your procedure.
Halos
Like glare, the effect is mild and diminishes in a few days to a few weeks.
Poor Night Vision
Custom wavefront treatments minimize this risk. The effect diminishes as the eye heals in the first three to six months.
