I wanted to take a quick moment to express my gratitude to you and your staff. My LASIK was performed on 03 Jan 11, so this letter is long overdue. Your staff was extremely friendly, courteous, professional, and provided a level of customer service that I would higher recommend to anyone considering this procedure. I’ve already promoted to several colleagues and friends, so they can experience what I have. Dr. Burr was accessible to answer questions and alleviate any pre-surgery concerns I may have had. Eleni, Lyzzy, and Pam all helped tremendously from my pre-op appointments all the way through the day of surgery. I want to say that I consider each of these staff members’ solid assets to thank them all for everything.
As for life afterwards, it has been amazing! I had been contemplating this procedure for almost 10 years and now I wish I would have made the decision “a lot” sooner. It was quick, painless, and I have had no complications to date. My eye sight was nearly 20/15 when I last went for a check-up, which far surpasses my expectations. I’ve been wearing glasses (at a +11 prescription) for my entire life, so living a life without sight was natural. Having the ability to see the clock on my nightstand in the middle of the night was something I have never been able to do until now. This surgery has enhanced every aspect of my life (work, sports, etc.), but it wasn’t until the birth of my daughter last week that I truly realized how wonderful LASIK is. I haven’t had glasses for several years now and wore my contacts from the time I got up to the time I went to bed. Removing this hassle has made the long nights a little easier.
