I was pretty close to legally blind. O,r maybe I was legally blind, who knows. But get this, I can SEE now! I had a prescription of -9 and now I have 20/20 vision– holy crap! I spent a lot of time researching Lasik doctors in the DC area and am thrilled that I chose Dr. Holzman. He is a cornea specialist and a doctors doctor- he’s done lasik on tons of othe opthamologists and optometrists in the DC area. I can’t think of a higher endorsement!
I also really, really liked that he prescribed some preventative care. I was on eye drops, and taking vitamin C, before my procedure and am
continuing with a vitamin and eye drop regimen after Lasik. I also liked that they don’t tell every person who comes through their doors that he/she is a candidate for Lasik. In fact, the last time I was there, I overheard him tell two patients that they aren’t good candidates.
I would recommend him to anyone who cares about their eyes and wants to go to the very best. Go for a consultation, you won’t regret it!
