As a mother of two adult children with profound
autism, I have had many time consuming challenges. What does not take
up my time anymore are contact lenses, glasses, and amazingly enough,
reading glasses. Because of my kids, I could only submit to something
that didn’t take time away from them. My husband drove them to school,
came home and picked me up, and drove 15 minutes to my 10:00 appointment
with Dr. Holzman. After a completely painless and stress free
procedure, I opened my eyes and could see clearly for the first time in
48 years. I was home before noon, took a two hour nap, and BAM! I felt
fine when the kids walked in he door at 2:45.
